Hulihe‘e Palace Tsunami Damage

The grounds of seaside Hulihee Palace have suffered damage from the October 2011 tsunami.

We are so grateful for all who could help out as we worked tirelessly to restore the Palace from the effects of the tsunami. The Palace has been reopened to the public again and we welcome visitors! We are open from Tuesday thru Saturday, from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Our last docent-guided tour begins at 3:15pm.

Hulihee Palace reopened in September 2009 after receiving a $1.5 million renovation to repair damage suffered in the October 2007 earthquake.
