Bring the family for a day at Queen Emma Summer Palace full of food, fun, and entertainment for everyone!
Shop at the festival’s marketplace featuring local artisans for haku lei, woven lauhala items, native Hawaiian plants, Tutu’s Attic, island-style clothing, jams-n-jellies, baked goods and other locally hand-crafted items.
Enjoy ʻono Hawaiian food, poke bowls, shave ice, and experience traditional Native Hawaiian arts such as poi pounding, haku lei making, lauhala weaving, ʻohe kāpala (bamboo stamps), and kapa making (cloth making) demonstrated by cultural practitioners.
Parents and keiki will want to spend some time exploring the Summer Palace, admission included with your entrance fee, and trying their hand at keiki activities.
This year’s entertainment line-up features Hawaiian music and hula performances with emcees Kimo and Leilani Kahoʻāno. Listen to the lovely sounds of the Royal Hawaiian Band, Punahou Alumni Glee Club, Kualoa featuring Kula Abiva & Pokiʻi Vaughan, Kuʻuipo Kumukahi, and Jerry Santos & Friends. Performances by Kamehameha Hawaiian Ensemble, Kumu Hula Kaleo Trinidad; Hālau Ka Pā Hula Hawai‘i, Loea Hula Kahaʻi Topolinski; Hālau Hula Ka Lehua Tuahine, Kumu Hula Kaʻilihiwa Vaughan; Hālau Hula Kalehuapuakea, Kumu Hula Cathy Ostrem; and Hālau Hula Kamamolikolehua, Kumu Hula Pohai Souza.
ADMISSION is $7 General; $1 Keiki 6 to 12 years; FREE for Keiki under 6 years; entrance to the Summer Palace is included with a paid admission
