2019 Annual Meeting & Luncheon

This annual fellowship allows for recognition of new members and special guests, remembrance of our departed Daughters and Cousins, reading of the Treasurer’s annual report, ratification of corporate Bylaws (if amended), election and installation of officers to the Board of Directors, remarks from the outgoing Regent, and remarks from the incoming Regent and her selection of advisor(s) and committee chairpersons.

Tickets are $45 for members and $50 for non-members. Non-members must be sponsored by a Daughter or a Cousin to attend. All Daughters and Calabash Cousins are encouraged to attend.

Attire is whites with a lei hulu or lei kukui. No-host bar. Parking is limited, attendees are strongly encouraged to carpool.

Voting

All Active Daughters who paid their dues and in accordance with the Bylaws, are entitled to vote each year at the annual meeting on the slate of officers and proposed amendments to the articles of incorporation and bylaws.

Currently, there are no proposed amendments to the articles of incorporation and bylaws; however, Daughters may motion for amendments in-person at the annual meeting. To find out more about how to submit amendments for consideration, please reference your copy of the bylaws.

To vote and propose amendments, Daughters must be current on their dues.

 

Voting by Proxy

All Active Daughters, in accordance with the Bylaws, who paid their dues and are unable to attend the Meeting, may vote by a proxy letter stating:

  1. Active Daughter’s Name
  2. Name of person voting on Active Daughter’s behalf.
  3. Active Daughter’s Signature

Letter must be emailed to info@daughtersofhawaii.org or received by mail at the Corporate Office by Friday, Feb. 22, 2019; or hand-delivered by 10:30 AM to the Meeting.
