It’s our 48th annual community festival at Hānaiakamalama … you don’t want to miss this! Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 9 AM to 2 PM—we’re throwing a big, beautiful celebration in Nu‘uanu to honor the legacy of Queen Emma.
Whether you’re kama‘āina or just visiting, keiki or kupuna, there’s something for everyone:

- Savor ‘ono grinds to make your opu happy

- Admire hula performances from three different halau
- Catch up with old friends, talk story, and make new memories
- Choose baked goods, lei, or Daughters’ jams and jellies at the Country Store
- Pre-order and pickup delicious sweet bread or prune mui at the Country Store

Fantastic entertainment, music, hula!
- FEATURING Kamaha‘o Haumea-Thronas, an Hawaiian music prodigy—musician, singer, songwriter and producer—currently a student at Kamehameha Schools Kapālama, he’ll complete our Day with a performance at 1:00 PM on the main lāna‘i. People say he’s shaking up the music world! Visit his Instagram @kamahao.music to discover his incredible talent. Then see and hear him in person at Day at Hānaiakamalama.
- Royal Hawaiian Band, founded in 1836 by King Kamehameha III, Queen Emma’s father-in-law, opens the festival with Hawaiʻi Ponoʻī followed by more favorites. Appearing at 9 am
- Emcee for the day is Kainoa Daines

There’s so much to see and do! Bring the whole ‘ohana!
Tickets are $10 General, $5 Youth (5 – 12 yrs), and $1 Children (4 yrs and less). They’re available for purchase at the entrance or order below. Enter the Palace grounds from Nuʻuanu Valley Park, which will open at 8:30 AM for free parking. Parking is limited.
Self-guided Palace tours are included with entry to the festival. Tours are not redeemable for another date.

A curated selection of 40 local vendors and artisans representing our Hawaiian culture and crafts will be setup around the grounds. From jewelry to woodwork, clothing to pillows, art, stationery and cards to handmade treats, you’ll find many choices for yourself, your home, for gifts or the holidays!
