You're invited to join us as we celebrate the re-opening of Hulihe‘e!

Come and experience the Palace, with renewed exhibits, a refreshed guided tour, and a new way we share the story of Hulihe‘e and our ali‘i. The Palace is sparkling from floor to ceiling, with new artifacts and portraits on exhibit, the grounds received a much-needed trimming and sprucing, and overall the facilities themselves had a chance to rest from the daily foot traffic.

Limited Re-Opening of The Palace in August

We are pleased and excited to announce the limited re-opening of Hulihe‘e! To ensure the health and safety of visitors, volunteers, and our employees, starting on August 1, the Palace will re-open to the public on a limited basis.

During the month of August, Hulihe‘e will open on Saturdays with guided tours at 10 AM, 11:30 AM, 1 PM and 2:30 PM. Reservations are required and tours are limited to 9 people per tour. Reservations close at 4 PM on Fridays. After safely touring the museum, visitors are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the grounds while relaxing in the sunshine, all while observing physical distancing.
