November – Talk Story: Monday Moments with the Daughters
Join us for our next Talk Story: Monday Moments with the Daughters - a virtual gathering typically held on the last Monday of every month. It's a time to catch up with one another, explore an interesting topic, and learn more about what makes our organization special and unique.
November is Founders Month and in commemoration we will be honoring a few of our most influential members throughout our Organization's history. For over a hundred years our members have fought adversity, overcome great odds, and held fast to their convictions. By working to preserve history, many have actually written themselves into it. Each one of us makes an impact with our membership and for this Talk Story we will take a closer look at just a few of our members throughout the years and how their actions helped shape the Daughters of Hawaiʻi as what we know it today. A few Daughters of Hawaiʻi we will focus on:
High Chiefess Elizabeth Kekaʻaniauokalani, ʻIolani Luahine, and Leiana Woodside.
