He Pili Pa‘a: A Union of Love, Leadership, and Legacy
Dine, drink, mingle, shop, and show off your mu‘umu‘u as we gather for a lively and meaningful evening filled with community, culture, and style. In addition to the fashion show, guests will enjoy heavy pūpū, a silent auction featuring unique items and experiences, and a mu‘umu‘u contest honoring Hawai‘i fashion and flair at the Kaimana Beach Hotel.
Kaimana Beach Hotel and the Daughters of Hawai‘i present this year’s theme, “He Pili Pa‘a: A Union of Love, Leadership, and Legacy,” to honor the wedding of Queen Emma and King Kamehameha IV. It highlights not only their enduring love but also their steadfast devotion to the people of Hawai‘i—a legacy reflected in their contributions to healthcare, education, the arts, and spiritual well-being, which continue to inspire and uplift our lāhui today.
Proceeds from this fundraiser will support the historic preservation, maintenance, and operations of Queen Emma’s cherished Summer Palace and grounds.
