The Daughters of Hawai‘i invite our members and community to join us in honoring Kamehameha III, Keaweaweʻula Kīwalaʻō Kauikeaouli Kaleiopapa, on his chosen birthday, March 17.
In remembrance of his life and legacy, we will gather for our ʻaha hoʻohanohano at his ʻāina hānau at Keauhou Bay. As the longest-reigning monarch of the Hawaiian Kingdom, Kauikeaouli guided Hawaiʻi through a time of great transformation—establishing a constitution, securing land rights for the people, and shaping a future grounded in law, education, and progress.
Together we will honor his enduring legacy and reflect on our shared kuleana to perpetuate the history and spirit of old Hawaiʻi.
We hope you will join us in hoʻokupu and remembrance as we celebrate this beloved aliʻi and the lasting impact of his leadership. Mahalo nui to our community partners for your kōkua: Sea Quest Hawaiʻi, Outrigger Kona Resort & Spa, and KS Kaiāulu.
