    The Daughters of Hawai‘i operates and maintains the Queen Emma Summer Palace and the Hulihe‘e Palace in Kailua-Kona, in addition to the site of Kamehameha III’s birth at Keauhou Bay, Kona.

  • Hānaiakamalama, The Queen Emma Summer Palace,  served as a summer retreat for Queen Emma of Hawai‘i from 1857 to 1885, as well as for her husband King Kamehameha IV, and their son, Prince Albert Edward.
