Safe Access O‘ahu

Effective Monday, September 13, 2021, as mandated by the City & County of Honolulu’s Safe Access O‘ahu program, all visitors to the Queen Emma Summer Palace ages 12 years and older are required to show proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative COVID-19 test result taken within 48 hours of arriving to the Palace. This includes individuals participating in museum tours and both indoor and outdoor programs, private events, workshops and classes.

Visitors ages 12 years and older must show:

  • Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination, and a valid photo ID; or
  • Proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 48 hours, and a valid photo ID.

Proof of full vaccination includes:

  • Hard Copy of CDC Vaccination Card

*Please note: the name on the proof of vaccination must match the individual’s photo ID.

Proof of a negative COVID-19 test result must:

  • Be from an FDA approved, or FDA EUA approved, molecular or antigen test, and
  • Show the date the test was administered.

*Please note: the Palace is not able to accept any undated negative COVID-19 test results. The name on the test result must match the individual’s photo ID.

Safe Access O‘ahu is a program of the City & County of Honolulu, by the Mayor’s Emergency Order No. 2021-11: Second Amendment to the Order Implementing Tier 5 of Honolulu’s Post COVID-19 Vaccine Framework.
